California Freshman Democratic Representative Katie Hill denies allegations that she is in a relationship with a member of her staff.
According to CNN, intimate photos of her were posted online without her consent and that she already made Capitol Hill police aware of this.
“Intimate photos of me and another individual were published by Republican operatives on the internet without my consent,” Katie Hill said. “I have notified Capitol Hill police who are investigating the situation and potential legal violations of those who posted and distributed the photos, and therefore will have no further comment on the digital materials.”
According to New York Post, the leaked photos of Hill and the unnamed female staffer was apparently pictured showing them both embracing and locked in a kiss.
“This smear campaign will not get in the way of the work I am doing every day to move our district and our country forward,” Rep. Hill stated in her public statement.
“I am truly grateful for the outpouring of support I have received from colleagues and constituents alike and I know we will get through this together,” Hill continued.
Allegedly, Katie Hill was reported to have a long-term “throuple” with her husband and a young female who is part of her staff. Apparently, Hill and her husband, Kenny Heslep are in the middle of a controversial divorce.
