The Weekend’s New Hit Is Inspired By Exes Selena and Bella?

The Weekend has a new track release titled ‘Heartless’ and fans of the singer are convinced that his exes Bella Hadid and Selena Gomez are the inspiration behind it.

The song is released three years after The Weekend’s last full length album. The singer whose full name is Abel Tesfaye announced ‘Heartless’ on November 26.

Reportedly, The Weekend has been single since August, after breaking up with model Bella Hadid for the second time.

“And I’m back to my ways cause I’m heartless,” the lyrics from the track says. “I lost my heart and my mind, I tried to always do it right, I thought I lost you this time. You just came back in my life, you never give up on me. I’ll never know what you see, I don’t do well when alone. You hear it clearly in my tone.”

“I would like to thank Bella Hadid & Selena Gomez for breaking The Weekend’s heart cause it makes for good music,” a fan quickly tweeted after the release of the new song.

“Abel back with the haunted strip club music thanks Bella for breaking his heart again so I can have this. He belongs to the streets again and I love it #heartless,” another fan tweeted.

The Weekend began dating Bella in 2015. They then split in November 16, which led to an on-off relationship.

In 2017, The Weekend began his relationship with Selena Gomez, they broke up later that year on October, though.
